To most women, their "skinny" body or flawless face is known as the perfect image. However, some viewers don't know would be that they are looking at a Photoshop model with edits. This brought a negative view to the world, as it caused more self esteem of our looks!

The Fashion Industries use of Photoshop has even influence other to retouch their own faces! However to most people, photoshop is not the crop the ulgy part of themselves, but to make a best version! To me, the use of Photoshop can help bring the best of yourself but what would you gain?
I believe that Photoshop gives the users a confidence feeling and self confidence! But does that positive energy comes from your true self?

Not only that, the fashion industry's products guarantees the viewers that their products will help improve their looks to look like their models! Another negative effects is brought once again as it gave an fake impression to weak minded teenager to change their looks.

Lastly, Photoshop does not just make their viewers discourage but the models! There are some models that are known as reformed freaks because of their way their bodies were crop! Photoshop should not be used to create horrible disfigured models but to display them in a more beautiful way!

With the world getting use to the magic touches of "Photoshop", we tended to forget how we really look like! For example, this picture shows couples of models without Photoshop retouch! This make us realize that how much have Photoshop have affected us.

Photoshop have the one tool that Fashion Industries depend on. Although the uses of Photoshop helps models to look best for their products, it also caused a lot of controversial. For example, in the website, Taylor Swift advertisement on promised teenagers that you have the perfect image through their products. They also note that famous actress and models uses these products too. However, it was not the product that made them beautiful, rather Photoshop retouches! It ask the world, should we trust what the Cosmetic industries display on TV?

Overall, I believe that Photoshop is a tool to present yourself through the best way! However, does it really represent who you are inside? True beauty is both outer and inner beauty.
The use of Photoshop in my opinion depends on the user. With the right hand, one can make wonderful image that doesn't offend the viewers and the models! But if it was place in the wrong hands, there will be more troubles that are caused by a simple tool known as Photoshop!

My three photo shop stuff

#1 (My first homework!)- I started to pay around with stuff like mixing and blending in my pics!
#2 (In class assignment)- I began to looks for pics in the internet that may suit the background.
(For example, does the deer image fits with the lighting and shadows of the forest?)
I also began to take small sections of the pics and made new layers! I took the new layers and merge them together.
#3 (My second homework)- Since my old homework almost looked like the first photoshop that I worked on, I decided to change the background in a vertical view. This time, I added different pics that may suit the scene.

Larry Lessig: How creativity is being strangled by the law's video

In the beginning of the video, Larry Lessig starts off with telling three stories.

1st story- Larry Lessig describe an argument that took place at Washington DC during 1906. The argument was the influence one of the first invention known as "the talking machine". One of the critic was that this talking machine would destroy the culture of creativity and the loss of vocal cords.
2nd story- Larry Lessig discuss another argument on airplane vs. land. In 1945, two farmers said that their chicken followed the same pattern of the planes that flown over their land. The airplanes at this time were "trespassing" their land. The Supreme Court states that airplanes had no place during their modern age.
3rd story- One of the last "great terror" that was brought to America was broadcasting. Broadcasting was the start of spreading content to the world and the battle in the media industries. An popular music industry, ASCAP, try to dominate the broadcasters. Until 1939, a lawyer created a "broadcast music incorporated"(BMI). This allowed broadcasters to bring new music with different cultures.

Larry Lessig describe that internet was a way for the new generation to use the old and modern traditions to create a new age. In addition, the new generation can create a message that can be Nationwide. "Re(creativity)" is a tool of speech for the new generation that shows the the understanding of digital technology.
However, to the government, copyrighting other internet source is considered a trespasser to those who own their source. Larry Lessig describe that this debate in the internet caused growing extremism of the law and the use of technology.
Larry Lessig discuss that is fighting for a balance between the two conflicts. He created two solutions.
1. Artist and creators must embrace the idea, choose their works to be free.
2. The business need to embrace opportunities to enable free creativity.
He states that an artists choice will allow new opportunities to the world.
